Merry Meet, everyone!
Whenever I go to Poplar Bluff, I try to make a stop in Five Below. Do I need anything? Not really, but every once in awhile you find a treasure. They've really been stepping up their game in the metaphysical category.

Things are running a bit more smoothly here. I've made progress on the studio, Bob will be home in a another week then company for a few days follows. But I'm breathing.
Is it just me or does the New Moon seem to be overshadowed by the Full Moon?
While I really feel the power of a Full Moon, I love a New Moon and the prospect of new beginnings, fresh starts, and an awakening of the possibilities; a chance to go inside ourselves to truly see who we are in the present and what we might want to change for the future.
Bob and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary yesterday - separately. He's on the boat for another week while I hold down the home front and care for the furbabies.
One of my intentions for the New Moon is to start the plan for him to retire sooner rather than later. I know this will be an on-going process and will need to check in with my intentions on a regular basis. The New Moon is the perfect time for me to do this.
Rebecca Willa Davis from WELL + GOOD refers to the New Moon as our accountability partner. From the moment we set new intentions, our journey begins for the next fourteen days, we have the opportunity to take incremental steps on our journey.
If you're brand new to the whole ritual part of celebration, Rebecca gives some great basic steps in THIS ARTICLE.
However you celebrate this cycle, go with intention and reap the benefits of this time.

Merry Meet, everyone!
I had the pleasure of making a new friend last week. I think we could have talked for hours.
Her name is Evan Sinclair. I'll put links for her down below.
Evan was in my favorite coffee shop in Poplar Bluff (Bluff Town Mercantile & Coffee) when I stopped in on Friday. She had a stack of books the barista (thank you Chelsea) just knew I'd love.
Evan lives in rural south east Missouri and is a local book distributor for Llewellyn Books! She also has a myriad of other things to share and is an amazing artist!. Her goal is to bring craft books to our rural community, some of whom do not have the option of shopping on the internet or just want to see a book in real time before purchasing.
Her business is lunarmelodiesbyevan. You'll find her on IG - just look for the blood moon avatar.
So if you're looking for books in our rural community - or anywhere and want to support a small business, check her out on IG and FB and check out her link.tree

Merry Meet, everyone!
Goodness... with Bob only off two weeks last time and gone for most of the first week, things just got away from me.
I'm still working on the office, making three identical bee-themed journals (which I plan to finish this week!) Life seems to always be on the fast track. I do love keeping busy but my word!
Merry Meet, everyone!
Another turn of the wheel has brought us to the first steps into harvest. While I know I shouldn't rush the seasons, after the blistering temps of summer, I am so ready for fall.
A friend of mine posted pictures of the zipper spiders in her garden yesterday. Zippers and Wolf spiders are both good indications, fall is near.
Here is our Affirmation for this week:
MY RELATIONSHIPS
ARE A
SOURCE OF
TRUE FULFILLMENT
AND
DELIGHT
Merry Meet, everyone!
I am getting quite a collection of books and I had one in mind for today until I opened my email and found one by Sandra Inman.
Good morning!
Did you do anything for the New Moon last Thursday?
I tried to get some time in before Bob got home to clean out my book shelves and antique wardrobe. Gave the altar a good cleanse - all things I've needed to do for a very long time. I still have too many books to fit on the shelves and no place to put another set of shelves. I'll keep you posted. LOL
In the mean time:
