Merry Meet, everyone!
I know I'm coming in late with this post but I've been so off balance that I almost missed this first full moon of the astrological year.
During a live chat on YouTube this afternoon, I realized there are things I need to let go of and that this is the perfect time to do so.
"Pluto is looking at rebirth, and Libra is all about truth and balance, so what is trying to be transformed within your life?" Quinn explains, adding that this moon asks us to reveal truth. (Mind Body Green)As I mentioned, balance has been a difficult issue for me lately. After falling behind in so many projects, I'm struggling to get in step with what needs done, what I want to do and more importantly, what I need to let go of.
In her HB90 course, author Sarra Cannon talks about getting rid of things in our life that do not move our needle forward towards where we want to be - what we want our life to look like. Within the steps of the course, we discover what we really want our life to be and how to break things down into 3-month increments to accomplish the long term vision.
For me, that's all about my writing, creating art while decluttering tangible things from my life. I could donate a lot of those things, but there's a way for that real estate to earn it's keep as it's going out the door - paying back rent, as it were.
As part of my ritual tonight, I'm letting go of one of my five remaining blogs. I created An Ozarks Journal several years ago to showcase cards that were made by local school children, thanking Maestro Steven Byess and the Polish Symphonia for a Christmas concert at their school. I was able to take photos of all the card and input them into a slide show so that the cards could be viewed from Portland Oregon to Poland.
From there, I thought the blog would be a good place to showcase my writing talents on local history, to serve as a resume when submitting articles for publication to the Ozarks Mountaineer. The magazine has since gone out of business.
Now, the blog has become more of a task no longer serving either of those two purposes. So, today, I will make a final post letting my few (11 maybe) viewers know the blog will be coming down at the end of the month.
From there, it's time for some serious house cleaning.
The Full Moon officially appears at 2:57 p.m. EDT tomorrow (Saturday April 16th, 2022)
What will you let go of? What is in your life that no longer serves a purpose?
Blessed Be
