I am typing this up as the temperature here in the Ozarks surges to 76*. The sun is shinning from a blue sky. Birds are seranading me outside the living room window....

... and I'm still not able to do much. My altar did not get changed as I'd hoped. Maybe I'll get in sync at some point.  Though one of my five Red Lion Amarylis has two beautiful flowers. 

Last fall, Bob and I planted over 140 spring bulbs. So far I've seen evidence of two. TWO! I swear the squirrels sit in the tree..

I'm a bit slower today. I managed to fall on Saturday and pop a rib. Sitting is good, reclining with the hot pad is better so I'm at the desk in small increments of time. I am not one to be idle very long and since last week was my first week back in the office for 2022, falling behind again is just driving me nuts!

I don't know about the rest of you but for some reason I've really had a challenge finding my center this year. I didn't have this issue through the two years of a global pandemic but now, the sand seems to shift at every turn. 

While I'm not on solid footing yet, I am making progress. Thank you for your patience.

I found my copy at 5 Below last fall.  Each of the 200 positive affirmations include an extention of the shorter affirmation. I will share the one with today's but from this point on, I encourage you to purchase the book for yourself for the complete thought.

Every being deserves to be happy and free, including me. Nothing can take away this basic, inherent right. I'm ready to finally recognize what has always been mine! I"m stepping into my divine worthiness starting now.

Make time to meditate. Perhaps, start a journal just for these affirmations and include what this means in regards to your life, soul.

Did you gather power from the Full Moon? I love when they fall on a weekend. I can really step into the magic and absorb all there is to offer.

This is our Mourning Moon and a Lunar Eclips. The eclipse should take place around 3:57 a.m. EST

You can see a map of viewing parameters HERE Enter your location and you'll get a pinpoint on the map. just pair up your location with the color bar on the right. I should have full visability. My challenge will be in either staying awake or being awake at that time. Maybe it's a camp out in the lawn chair kind of night.

I also found some lead-ins for how to honor the Mourning Moon HERE. Through a slide-show you're given four main points:

1 - Consider how you mourn

2 - Brave the Cold. 

3 - Cleanse

4 - Send a Message

All great steps in honoring any full moon, however the point about considering how you mourn and allow yourself a good cleansing cry is a superb idea.

Cry them out, write them out then burn them out are stellar ways to get rid of the excess baggage and words unsaid. 

Letting Go allows for more positive energy to come in.
