PREPARING FOR LITHA

 Merry Meet, friends!

I don't know what it is about Litha that has me wanting to get in and truly celebrate this turn of the wheel.

I've found a new gal on YouTube.. her name is Birdie. You'll find her channel, The Old Crow & Her Cottage by clicking HERE!  She's a crafty sort of witch I identify with. 

Bob comes home tomorrow but my plan is to have the tank (pool) set up today so the water can be warming up and to gather things for a Witch Ladder. I'd not heard of that one.

DANCE! DANCE! CELEBRATE!

I've always been behind the curve of what is popular. That said, the fact that I'm just hearing about The Witch Dance does not surprise me.

Maybe you've seen this German trend of a dance troupe (they may or may not all be witches) 'shaking their bacon' to the tune with the same name by German Pop artist Peter Fox.

Current or not, I see this as a great way to get some exercise. The routine reminds me of line dancing and may be why the dance gained popularity in the United States.
